Not That Simple for #Hyde40

September 2016 marks 40 years of the Hyde Amendment, the federal ban on public insurance coverage for abortion. For 40 12401798_10205599555813549_525109956141701748_o.jpgyears, Hyde has been used to block abortion access for those who are struggling to get by. The people who call TEA Fund seeking assistance paying for an abortion are dealing with the effects of this discriminatory policy. Hear their stories during a night of art on September 25th, 2016. The Danielle Georgiou Dance Group created a piece called Not That Simple based on the stories we hear on our hotline.

Join us at the Black Academy of Arts and Letters in the Muse Cafe Theater on September 25th. Doors to the space open at 7 pm, performance at 7:30. Enjoy a night of art and learn more about the efforts to lift abortion coverage bans. You can join us and #BeBoldEndHyde!
