Featuring Keynote Speaker Rockie Gonzalez

Rockie_Gonzalez_Cropped.jpgRockie Gonzalez (she/her) is an indigenous queer Xicana from the Rio Grande Valley living in Austin, TX. She is a mother of one brilliant teenager and two very spoiled canines. Rockie dedicates her professional time to advancing racial equity, organizing for abortion access and generally preaching reproductive justice on a national scale. She is the Organizing Manager at the National Network of Abortion Funds, as well as co-founder and Board Chair of the Frontera Fund, an abortion fund serving her homeland, the Rio Grande Valley.  Rockie is also a facilitator with the People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond and works to advance the Undoing Racism™ analysis across the country. She has served her community as an organizer, trainer, consultant, and mentor for over 12 years. Her approach and direction are driven by an intersectional feminist lens with a strong focus on anti-racist organizing principles and a decolonial vision rooted in respect for the land and the traditional practices of her ancestors. Rockie's sun is in Libra and she rises with Pisces.
